LEAD QUALITY (MANUFACTURING)

Monday - Thursday

8:30 pm – 7:00 am

$26.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, coach, and support the quality team to meet company standards
  • Set daily priorities for Quality Inspectors and monitor workflow
  • Review scrap, nonconforming materials, and quality trends
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
  • Communicate quality issues and escalate concerns when needed
  • Ensure nonconforming products are identified, contained, and not shipped
  • Support receiving inspection and address supplier quality issues
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing refresher training
  • Partner with production and engineering to improve processes and product quality
  • Support continuous improvement and plant yield initiatives
  • Assist with new product development (NPD) measurements and tool qualification
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 & 14001 standards
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S)
  • Step in to stop production or shipments if quality issues arise

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
  • Experience with quality tools (SPC, root cause analysis, corrective actions)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):

  • ASQ certification or Six Sigma training
