Part-Time Aquatics Front Desk Clerk Seasonal Positions and Year-Round Positions
Seasonal positions: Must be 15 years of age or older - pay rate is $11.00 per hour
Year-Round positions: Must be 16 years of age or older - pay rate is $12.00 per hour
Position Summary
Performs administrative duties for the BBAC, including answering and routing incoming phone calls, greeting and guiding visitors, maintaining files, accepting payments and fees, assisting with camps and programs. Performs duties of Aquatic Center Front Gate, Aquatic Center Concession Stand and the Park Carousel, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Provides excellent customer service to all guests and staff
Greets and assist patrons of the facilities
Collects admission fees and issue correct change
Answer and direct phone calls, in addition to taking messages as needed
Make phone calls for Park Reservations
Help out in emergency situations at the facilities
Cross train to assist with front gate, concessions, and carousel
Actively assist with Camps/Aquatics programs and Recreation programs
Attend staff meetings scheduled by the Aquatic Superintendent
Additional Duties and Responsibilities for Year-Round position:
Performs duties of Aquatic Center Front Gate, Aquatic Center Concession Stand and the Park Carousel, as needed.
Cross train to assist with front gate, concessions, and carousel
Actively assist with Camps/Aquatics programs and Recreation programs
Qualifications: Basic computer skills, cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with both the public and staff. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as counting money, calculating fees, and making change.
Shifts Available: Varied shifts; including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
